Eden Jones, aged 49 of Tigard, Ore., passed away after a 10-year battle against cancer on March 27, 2016. She was born in Portland, Ore. on Feb. 2, 1967 and graduated from Glencoe High School. She received a BA in Journalism from the University of Oregon and worked for many years in the local radio, television and public relations businesses. She loved music, travel, writing, and making people laugh. Her sweetness was legendary.
Eden is survived by her son Austin Jones, her husband Bruce, her sister Marie Godbey and her mother Karen Godbey. She was preceded in death by her father, Elmer Godbey.
We will hold a Celebration of Life on May 1, 2016 at 12 p.m. at the Cornelius Pass Roadhouse in Hillsboro, Ore. She always loved a good burger and a pint of Ruby ale. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
