

Eunice Boleyn, 100, formerly of Gerald, Missouri died Tuesday, December 11, 2012 in Portland, Oregon. Eunice was born to Talitha Virginia Wiseman Ficke and James Alfred Ficke on December 1, 1912 in the New Salem area of Gasconade County, Missouri. Eunice graduated from high school in Owensville, Missouri. She received her nurses training at Missouri Baptist School of Nursing in St. Louis, then worked as an RN for Dr. Charles Schmidt in Gerald.
Eunice married Raymond (Chris) Haase in the early 1930s and the couple resided in Gerald and raised 3 children. Eunice has lived for the past 22 years in Portland with her husband Robert (Bob) Boleyn.
Eunice is preceeded in death by her husband Chris, her second husband, Robert (Pete) Hundley, sisters Ruth Schmidt and Lois Kreter and her brother Alfred (Pessel) Ficke. She is survived by her husband, Bob Boleyn, her three children; Sally Geist, Portland, Oregon; James Haase, Portland, Oregon; Nancy Boles, Columbia, Missouri. and her second husband’s daughter, Kay Schrum of Kewanee, Illinois. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
A memorial gathering will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, December 19, 2012 at Metzger United Methodist Church in Tigard, Oregon with Pastor Christy Dirren officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to Metzger United Methodist Church in lieu of flowers.
