

Gloria Jean Huffman passed away on January 30, 2013 at the age of 81 years. She was born in Albany, Oregon to Alan and Kathryn Fintel on March 29, 1931. She graduated from Albany High School in 1949, then attended Oregon State College. She worked for U.S bank as a teller. In 1954 she married high school classmate, Clinton Huffman. A daughter, Cathy, was born in 1955, followed by a son, Michael, born in 1962. Gloria, Clinton & family moved to Beaverton that same year and then on to Lake Oswego in 1969 where they resided to this day.
In 1949 Gloria was selected the "Albany Timber Carnival Queen" and Miss Linn County" in the "Miss Oregon" contest. She was also employed by First National Bank which is now known as the Wells Fargo Bank in Raleigh Hills. She then worked as office manager in a C.P.A. firm. She is survived by her husband; Clinton Lewis Huffman, daughter; Cathy Winans (Dean) and son Michael Huffman (Suzanne). Survivors also include four grandchildren; Ryan (Robyn), Alison, Lindsay and Bailey, three step grandchildren; Julianne, Sean and Meghan and three great grandchildren; Jameson, Macgregor and Nathan.
She was a wonderful mother and grandmother and we will miss her dearly.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Young's Funeral Home in Tigard, Oregon.
