He was born in El Paso, Texas on Nov. 27, 1923. Gustavo graduated from Bowie High School.
He was married to Lois F. Baker on Mar. 7, 1946.
Gustavo had a career in banking for First National Bank of Oregon; Tektronics; Royal Bank of Canada.
He was a member of Toastmasters; Jr. Achievement; Metzger Park Board; and the Metzger Water Board.
He was survived by son, David Anderson, and daughters Virginia Smallwood of Gilbert, AZ and Karen Davis of Tigard, Ore., 12 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements will be held at 12 noon, March 1, 2016, at Young's Funeral Home with viewing at 11 am (1 hour prior).
