Jean was my neighbor in Eldorado Villas for many years.  I always enjoyed my visits with her.  There was never a holiday, birthday or other celebrations that she didn't have a house full of family.  She will be missed..loving thoughts to her family.

When I was young child, the most absolute best thing to make my day would be an excited announcement that "Unk and Jean just called. They're on their way over!!!" This delightful development quickly led my 3 older siblings and myself to gather all our various "props" and ready ourselves for a performance for our most favorite Aunt and Uncle. We always had their undivided attention. They never talked down to kids, and we adored them. Aunt Jean was a good friend and a stable influence for me. Such a beautiful smile, and those twinkling eyes. Aunt Jean had a way of making you feel better, a way of making you feel safe, cherished, and Loved.  She would call you every year, on your birthday and sing "Happy Birthday".  We'd chat, mostly laughing, as we caught up with  all the families doings.  Laura, Tom, Grandchildren, and Greats...You were wrapped securely, in her Loving arms. Know that the Love goes on, in your hearts and treasured memories.  With tears in my eyes, I smile. Once again, My Favorite Aunt and Uncle are finally together again. God Bless.

Our P.E.O. Chapter, which raises money to educate women, just celebrated Jean's 70th year as a much loved member.  She has served as President in '64 and '85 and held other offices and headed committees as well.  I have met Jean only twice but had delightful telephone conversations with her once or twice monthly as she served as the telephone Chair after she could no longer attend until she left her home.  She loved to talk and did so with a cheerful and welcoming smile in her voice.  My condolences to Laura, Tom, and other family members.     

My dearest Aunt Jean. I remember when Unk asked me not to sing "Here comes the bride" because he was so nervous about the wedding to you.(My dad..his brother.)..said you love her and adore her...get over it!
