Julianne Peterson

A funeral service was held on April 22, 2026, at Crescent Grove Cemetery.

Julie was born on July 29, 1952, in Salem, Oregon. She graduated from Oregon State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Home Economics Education and began her career teaching home economics at Lynch Terrace Middle School. She later earned her master's degree from Lewis & Clark College before accepting a position with Intel Corporation in Santa Clara, California.

Julie spent 33 years with Intel as a Corporate Training Manager, a career that provided opportunities for extensive international travel, including visits to China, Ireland, Malaysia, the Philippines, and Israel. She spent much of her adult life in Chandler, Arizona, before returning to her childhood home in Portland.

Julie is survived by her brother, Steve Peterson, and his wife, Becki; her nieces, Carrie Wylam and Ashley Chinn; and six great-nieces and great-nephews.

Julie will be remembered as a warm and loving aunt, daughter, and friend. She enjoyed holidays, crafts, traveling, and hosting tea parties. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
