Karen Faye Williams

Sept. 6, 1941 - July 23, 2026

With heavy hearts we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, friend to many and dedicated Green Bay Packer fan.

Born in LaGrande Oregon, her childhood was spent surrounded by the beautiful mountains of Cove, Oregon. She moved to Hermiston as a young teenager, where she built a life filled with hard work, kindness, and unwavering devotion to those she loved.

Karen was the mother of six children, Dale Scott, Lori Westmen, Gail Scott, Debbie Sterinbruck, Charlene Scott, Lenora Randall, and lovingly welcomed all their spouses as her own. Her greatest joy was watching her family grow to include 21 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren, each of whom held a special place in her heart regardless of their blood connection.

She worked for many years in food manufacturing approaching every day with dedication, integrity, and an unmatched work ethic. She believed in doing every job well and took great pride in being dependable and hardworking.

Karen got much joy from her life with horses and then cattle in her retirement years.

Her greatest legacy, however, was her concern and love for others. She had a caring heart that reached far beyond her own family. Whether someone needed a warm meal, a glass of wine, a place to gather, or simply to feel loved and cared for, she was there.

Karen welcomed people into her home and into her heart, and many who were not related by blood lovingly called her mom or grandma and famously, Grandma Grandma, because she was twice as special!

She will be remembered for her generous spirit, her strength, her welcoming home, and the unconditional love she shared so freely. The kindness she planted in others will continue to grow through her stories and famous quotes.

Though our hearts are broken, we find comfort in knowing her love lives on in her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and all who knew her. She touched many lives and has left a lasting impression for us to carry on in her memory.

She will be deeply loved and missed. Go Pack Go!
