Karl Louis Oesterblad

Karl Louis Oesterblad, age 57, of Tigard, Oregon, passed away on August 17, 2023. He was born on July 9, 1966, in Upland, California, to the late Denny and Carol Oesterblad. Karl was a beloved husband, step-father, brother, and friend.

Karl was known for his honesty, loyalty, and integrity. He followed in his father's footsteps and established a highly respected reputation for the Oesterblad name as a business owner and contractor. Karl's work ethic was unmatched, and his superior craftsmanship was often referred to as artistry. He took pride in every job he did.

Outside of work, Karl enjoyed spending quality time with his friends and family. He cherished moments of relaxation, whether it was sitting with his dogs on his lap while watching TV or taking trips to Cannon Beach with his wife, Sandra.

Karl's wife, Sandra Oesterblad, was his true partner in life. They met online during the early days of chat groups and spoke every day for two months before deciding to meet in person. Their connection grew stronger over time, and they married three years later.

In addition to Sandra, Karl is survived by his step-children Daniel, Joshua, and Jonathan as well as his five siblings, April, Sherell, Kim, Danny, and Rick. He had a close bond with his family and cherished the time they spent together.

Karl Louis Oesterblad will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His legacy of hard work, integrity, and love for his family will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to have crossed paths with him.

A ceremony to celebrate Karl's life will be held on September 23rd, 2023, at 1:00 PM at Young's Funeral Home located at 11831 SW Pacific HWY, Tigard, OR 97223
