LaVaun was the mother of my dear childhood friends Jackie and Delna, and I knew her from the time we were in grade school. I'll always remember her for her big, welcoming smiles and her eyes that seemed to look INTO you. No one could pull a huge gathering together faster than LaVaun... with the biggest bowls of potato salad I've ever seen! She had a very big heart. I know she is realizing pure joy, comfort and love now in heaven. Her spirit will live on forever in the hearts of her family and friends.
