He was born in Richfield, Utah on January 20, 1950. Marlin graduated from Richfield High School and received a Business Degree from Stevens Henagar College.
He was married to Cynthia Kay Werner on February 9, 1998.
Marlin has a career in IT as a Programmer/Analyst, working for several NW based retail companies before retiring from Fred Meyer in May of 2014.
He had a passion for fishing, being outdoors, and he loved to barbeque.
He is survived by his wife Cynthia, his father David K. Stevens, his mother Arla V. Stevens, his sisters Suzanne Anderson (Smithfield, UT) and Jolene Huddleston (Layton, UT), and his brother Darwin Stevens (Taylorsville, UT).
