

Marvin was a kind person with a good sense of humor, leaving behind cherished memories for those who knew him.
Marvin is survived by his loving spouse, Judy Baker, and children Lawrence Leon Baker, James Everett Baker, and Sandra Jean Baker Parker. He is also survived by his sister, Sue Trent, along with 14 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Marvin was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Leona Baker, his sisters Linda Baker and Karen Keightley, and his son, Kenneth Charles Baker.
After graduating from Dayton High School in 1952, Marvin embarked on a successful career. He worked for Suburban Gas Company until 2003, after which he began driving a school bus for First Student School Bus Company. Marvin dedicated his time to the Tigard Tualatin School District, ensuring the safe transportation of students until 2020.
In his leisure time, Marvin enjoyed playing pool, playing most Saturdays at his complex. During his younger years, he had a passion for bowling and achieved great success, even participating in out-of-state competitions and winning several championships. Later in life, Marvin and his wife Judy cherished their monthly lunch dates with Marvin's sister, Sue, and her husband.
Marvin Leon Baker will be deeply missed by his loved ones and all those who had the pleasure of knowing him. May his memory live on in the hearts of those who were touched by his kindness and humor.
