Mary Ann Hazen

Mary Ann Hazen, age 71, of Tigard, Oregon passed away on Tuesday, February 8, 2022. Mary was born October 18, 1950 to John and Mary Manning in New Jersey. She graduated from Lake Oswego High school in 1968 and worked at Portland Community College for 34 years. Through the foundation office, she helped raise money for kids that could not afford college.

Mary was a free spirit! She loved camping, writing poetry, music, gardening, bird watching, collecting rocks, girl’s trips to the beach and hashing out politics over a glass of wine. Mary had a charm about her; everyone who met her was an instant friend of hers.

We will miss her great laugh, her quick wit and sass, but most of all the love and support she has always given her family.

She leaves behind her daughters Angela Southworth (Brian); Whitney Loomis (Lonnie); her four grandchildren Cody, Ashley, Nichole, and Levi; her great grandson Jackson; Her brothers John Manning, Tom Manning (Sheila), and Richard Manning (Amy); her sister Bobbi Hass (Rick); her thirteen nieces and nephews; her many great nieces and nephews as well has her huge extended family.

A Celebration of Life will be held by Mary’s family at a later date.
