

Nick,as he was affectionately known, is survived by his beloved wife, Alicia Villanueva. He is also survived by his sons Christopher Villanueva (Veronica) & Nicholas Villanueva; his granddaughters Noemmy Christina Villanueva, Izalea Abby Villanueva; as well as his sisters Mary Hernandez, Minga Guerrero, Gracie Mirales, Yolanda Pena, Blanca Mendoza, Rosa Linda Pena.
Nicolas Villanueva Jr, passed away after a courageous battle with cancer. He has been living in Portland, Oregon since moving from South Central Texas in 2022. Nicolas was preceded in death by his parents Nicolas Villanueva Sr.and Maria del Rosario Villanueva; his step-mother Maria Villanueva and a sister, Manuelita Robles (deceased).
Nick was born on December 25, 1949 to Nicolas Sr and Maria del Rosario Villanueva in Seguin, Texas. After Nick graduated from Seguin High School he enlisted in the United States Army and served honorably in Germany. Upon receiving an Honorable Discharge from the Army, Nick returned to his hometown where he met Alicia and they soon married. Nick and Alice have two sons, Christopher and Nicholas III. Nick spent most of his work career at Hexcel Corporation where he enjoyed many close friendships.
Nick loved playing sports and rooting for the Dallas Cowboys, the San Antonio Spurs, and the Houston Astros each and every season. His passion for sports reached his two granddaughters and he spent his final years watching them play basketball. He was a big part of their everyday lives and will be sorely missed by all his family. Noemmy and Izalea especially miss their Boopa, and his love and presence in their life.
The Villanueva Family is having a private internment, where Nick will be laid to rest with his mother in Seguin, Texas, later this year.
