September 29, 2014 at the age of 73, after a yearlong battle with colon cancer.
Peggy was born January 12, 1941 in Eugene, OR to Clifford and Lucille (Rhea) George. She spent her childhood through age 39 in Monroe, OR. She moved to Corvallis, OR where she earned her BS from OSU at age 41. She moved to Denver CO before returning to Portland, OR to be with her family and grandchildren.
She will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by her son Mitchell and his wife Janice; her grandchildren Joshua, Robert, Jenna and Alex. Her brother Danny George and his wife Delila; niece, Karla and nephews Curt, and Alan; and three lifelong friends, Sandra, Lillian, and Rhonda.
