Ralph Arditi

He graduated from Lincoln High School, and he served as an Army Sargent during the Korean war. He married Doris Pierce in 1950. Soon the family grew to include two sons, Vince and Dino. He was preceded in death by Doris in 1972.

He was the General Manager of Boxer Northwest Hotel and Restaurant Supply for 40 years, where he was mentor to many young people as they learned the business.

He married Nancy Oberst in 1985 and became a loving stepfather to Jeff Oberst and Barbara von Gaertner.

The last chapters of his life were spent in Summerfield where he loved playing golf with his many good friends. His was a life well-lived, and he was loved by many. He is survived by his wife Nancy. His daughter, Barbara (John). His sons Vince, Dino (Bernice), and Jeff. And eight beloved grandchildren, Candice, Alison, and Ryan Arditi, Gillian Arditi, Conner and Sarah Oberst, and Adam and Caitlin von Gaertner.

A rosary will be held at Young’s Funeral Home in Tigard on Thursday evening, August 7, at 7:00P. A funeral mass will be held at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church on Friday, August 8, at 10:00AM, with internment and reception to follow at Finley’s Sunset Hills.
