Robert Frank Betzer

Robert Frank Betzer, 65, of Tigard, Oregon passed away Sunday, July 28, 2019 after a battle with Cancer. Bob was born February 6, 1954 in Hillsboro, Oregon to Bill and Ollie (Pessarra). After graduating from Hillsboro High School in 1972 he attended Northwest Christian College in Eugene. He married Rita Rand on May 26, 1990 at Hillsboro Christian Church. They later divorced and she preceded him in death from Cancer.

He was a bookkeeper for a variety of companies in the area. From 1996 to his passing he owned and operated B & B Business Services. He valued his clients and enjoyed interacting with others while doing what he loved. He enjoyed games, puzzles, and being with family. He was, also, a loyal volunteer to The Children's Eye Clinic and Veteran’s Support Programs. He was a member of the Hillsboro Christian Church and past Exalted Ruler of the Sherwood Elks Lodge.

He is survived by his son, Sam Betzer of Tigard; siblings Florence Ball of Canby, OR, Bill Betzer and his wife, Karen of Doyle, CA, and Tom Betzer of Hillsboro, OR, several nieces and nephews, and girlfriend, Marilyn Thompson of Portland, OR.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The American Cancer Society or The Epilepsy Foundation. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
