Though I don't know a lot about his life before he was our neighbor what I can say is he was a warm, inviting and genuinely a kind man who loved his community and his dog. He would never hesitate to say hello and ask how you were doing and truly wanted to know. He looked after those around him. He was always smiling and seemed to find joy in the small things like the warmth from a sunny day or the laughter and smiles of the children in our community. I'll miss seeing him around and l know that there was someone looking after us.
