

Robert is survived by his wife, Norma Hill; son, Scott Warner, her children, Cathy Hill, David Hill, Sherri Silvia and their families; and countless relatives, friends and colleagues.
Born in Schenectady, NY on December 5th, 1942 to Robert Harmon Warner and Evelyn Jane Kline, he spent his youth pursuing higher education, exploring the Adirondacks and serving as a volunteer firefighter. After graduating from Union College, he attended medical school at Duke University and SUNY Upstate Medical University and became a doctor in 1965.
Highlights from his illustrious career include: Captain in the U.S. Air Force Reserves; Chief of Medical Services at the Syracuse VA Medical Center for ten years; Professor of Medicine for eleven years; Medical Director of Inovise Medical, Inc.; and Director of the Tigard Research University. He also authored, co-authored and performed research for numerous publications.
Outside of his professional and educational interests, he enjoyed studying philosophy, reciting poetry, telling good jokes and bad, attempting to master video poker, cheering on Syracuse University and feasting on carnivorous delights.
In lieu of services or flowers, we ask that you celebrate Robert’s memory by learning something new, telling a joke or extolling the virtues of the 2-3 zone defense.
