
The funeral service will be held at 12 pm on Friday, November 6th at Willamette National Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are being handled Young’s Funeral Home.
Bob was born in Coles, Nebraska on October 27, 1937. He graduated from Modesto High School and continued on to receive a BA in History from Portland State University and a Law Degree from the University of Oregon.
Bob was an avid reader of many subjects including Science, Religion, Spirituality and Literature. He loved the desert and enjoyed travelling with his VW Van as well as touring across the US, Canada and Mexico on his motorcycle with his longtime friend, Daniel Ellis.
After serving in the Army, Bob worked as an Attorney in Washington, Tillamook and Multnomah counties for 25 years. His career in Law began as a clerk at the State Capital in Salem, OR. He spent 4 years in the District Attorney’s office in Washington County, was appointed District Attorney in Tillamook County in 1978, and then continued on as an Indigent Defense Attorney in Multnomah County.
Bob is survived by his brother, James Wasson, children Denise Clouse and Robert Wasson, grandchildren Jonathan Caudill, Jared Caudill and Rylan Wasson, nieces Kimberly Holtzman and Kelly Wasson, and nephews Donald Wasson and Craig Wasson.
Bob is preceded in death by Bill Wasson (brother), Tillman and Irene Wasson (parents), and Janine Wasson (daughter).
