Ronald Adison Masters

Ron Masters - Born January 28, 1934 passed away quietly in his sleep on November 17, 2011. He was born in Clinton, Iowa to Oren and Lottie Mae Masters. He graduated from Grants Pass High School in 1952 where he was a star football player, wrestler and actor. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. Ron was a man of many talents including chef, restauranteur, real estate broker, home builder, and was most recently as a retiree, the editor of his WASA newsletter. He enjoyed many activities including fishing, cooking, taking scenic drives and family walks. He was a very caring man and played many roles in the lives of the ones who knew and loved him. He is survived by his brothers Oren Jr. and Edwin Masters. His wife Sally is joined in celebrating his life with Ron's surviving children, Steve, Ronna, Chris, Joni, Tracie and Jason. His grandchildren Alison, Ronni, Sydney, Jason, Austin, Ian, Sophie, and Connor will miss papa very much. Please join us in remembering Ron's love of life, family and friends. We will be gathering at the Tigard Elmer's on Sunday, November 20th from 3:30-5:30pm.
