STACEY ELAINE (SEEBURGER) TESSLER, the daughter of Myra Tadlock Seeburger and William Seeburger, was born May 4,1965, in Richland, Washington. Stacey passed away on February 24, 2026, in Tigard, Oregon at the age of 60. She concluded her journey here on earth surrounded by loved ones.
Stacey's growing up years were spent in Richland, Washington, Pullman, Washington, and Aloha, Oregon. She and her sister, Shelly, spent much of their childhood participating in horse shows and playing on the girls’ basketball teams at school.
From her prior marriage to Dean Tessler, Stacey was blessed with her daughter, Alexandria, the love of her life. Alex is now a nurse in Oregon.
Stacey was a person of admirable talent and a big, compassionate heart. Her smile and laughter are unforgettable. Her enduring passion for animals, particularly horses, inspired her dream career. She founded Hand To Heart Stables, in Wilsonville, Oregon, where she proudly practiced Natural Horsemanship. She focused her life on providing a safe environment for horse lovers of all ages. Her passion became a sanctuary of healing and joy. Whether she was leading summer horse camps for kids, dressing up the horses for a Halloween Party, or facilitating the therapeutic power of riding for the disabled, Stacey’s patience and expertise changed countless lives and gave many rescued horses a new life full of love, safety and care.
Stacey is preceded in death by her sister, Shannon Gibson, her father, William Seeburger and grandparents who adored her. Her loved ones find peace knowing she rejoins her family members and her beloved animals. We know her Black Lab, Blackjack, her kind and gentle Rottweiler, Rayna, and her forever horses, Precious and Misty, will be among her welcoming committee.
Stacey was a proud and much-loved member of a large “village” of a family. She leaves behind her beloved daughter, Alexandria Tessler, (Stephen), of Portland. OR, her sister, Shelly Peebles, (Nick), of New Zealand, and her mother, Myra (Tadlock) Gibson, of Tigard, Oregon.
Stacey will be deeply missed by her many aunts, uncles, nephews, cousins, step-siblings, and the lifelong friends who became family. Her light will continue to shine in every sunset over the pasture.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Please reach out to Alex (her daughter) or Myra (her mother) and/or Shelly (her sister) for that information and then join us in celebration of Stacey, a special woman whose light will never dim in our hearts.
