She was born in Portland, Oregon on March 8, 1928, to Floyd and Mary Fitzwater. Teresa graduated from NADA High School. She married Kenneth Farquhar on January 1945.
Teresa first had worked as a telephone operator for Pacific Northwest Bell, but later became a supervisor and trainer for the company.
She was a member of Association for Research and Enlightenment. She also had a passion to travel and travelled to many countries during her adult life.
Teresa was survived by her children Kevin Farquhar and Donna Farquhar; grandchildren, Colleen Farquhar and Scott Douglas Farquhar; and a dear friend, Teresa Hart.
A memorial service for Teresa will be held at a later date in Sarasota, Florida.
