Theresa Michaelson Sempert, of Lake Grove, Oregon, passed away December 4, 2015. She was born in Portland, OR on July 10, 1931. She graduated from Tigard High School and earned both her undergraduate degree and Masters of Arts in Teaching from Lewis and Clark College. She married Don Sempert on March 14, 1953, and had three children. Theresa taught elementary education for the most of her career in the Tigard School District, and retired in 1987. Her surviving family includes her husband, Don, children Bruce and wife Cindi Ney Sempert, Lisa and partner Kelly Rice, granddaughters, Brianna and Mackensie Sempert, sisters Madelon Havery and Paulette Tatum. A celebration of her life will be held in the spring at a time and date to be determined.
