Thomas Jeffrey Stewart

Tom grew up in Lake Oswego where he attended Our Lady of the Lake school and was a 1974 graduate of Lake Oswego High School where he played soccer, golf, and was a high jumper for the track team. He received a B.S. in Park and Recreation from the University of Oregon. He worked for the Bend Parks Department and later spent 15 years with Kruger International and was currently working as an agent for Farmers Insurance.

Tom was a lover of the outdoors and avid backpacker, cross country skier, golfer, and kayaker. He was a lifelong Oregonian living in Lake Oswego, Eugene, and Bend. He enjoyed playing and officiating basketball and attending University of Oregon sporting events.

He is survived by his brother Mark and sister-in-law Martha of Vancouver, sister Julie and brother-in-law Ron Nathman of Portland, brother Scott and sister-in-law Margaret Lemon of Yacolt, WA and his nieces and nephews John, Katherine, Maegan, Alexander, Sarah and Jane.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm, Saturday April 26th, at Augustana Lutheran Church 2710 NE 14th Street, Portland, Oregon.
