Virgina Mae Kent was born to Harry and Ethel Opperman on January 23, 1928 in Sioux City, Iowa. She married John Kent. She and John had four children: Lisa, Kim, Kerri and David. Virginia retired after 35 years as a secretary, in 1995, from the VA hospital.
She loved to travel, especially enjoyed going to the beach with her children. She was a loving mother and grandmother to her four grandchildren, Jacob, Clay, Kyle and Madison
