Walter was born in Kipling, Saskatchewan, Canada, on February 13, 1920 and passed away in Tigard, Oregon, on February 15, 2010. He was a graduate of Benson Tech and later enlisted in the US Army on his birthday in 1942. He became a comissioned officer a year later and was assigned to the Army dental labratory in Ft. Lewis, Washington. Walter later became a part owner of the Central Dental Lab. When he was not working, Walter was an avid fisherman and pilot. He was preceeded in death by his wife, Lois. He is survived by his brothers, Richard and Otto. Walter was a kind man who touched many lives and will be missed. There will be no services at Walter's request. Walter will be laid to rest with his wife and son at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Portland, Oregon.
