

Upon graduation from High School, he enlisted in the U.S. Navy, which took him to Seattle, WA where he met and married the love of his life, Pauline (nee Floan) Evans. He was also a graduate of Drexel Institute of Technology (later Drexel University).
Bill had a tremendous “wry” sense of humor and was an avid sports fan, rarely missing an opportunity to watch his beloved Seattle Mariners, Seattle Seahawks, or Gonzaga Bulldogs. Most importantly, he will be remembered for his unwavering love for his family and to his friends. He was preceded in death by Pauline, his beloved wife of 43 years, in January of 2005. Bill was a man of deep faith and went to rest fully in God’s grace on December 7, 2021.
He is survived by his sister Sandy Auwarter; three children, Karen (Craig) Evans Johnson, Dorothy (David) Evans Johnson, and Roger (Amy) Evans; 7 grand-daughters and 3 great grandchildren.
A graveside committal will be held in Spokane, WA with immediate family in attendance on January 10, 2022.
Remembrances of Bill can be made to the American Cancer Society, the American Heart Association, or to the Canby (Oregon) Adult Center.
