Dear Marie and family,
         Such a shock to get back from a week's vacation to find out your dear Monti was called to eternity.
           He was such a pro-life warrior and no doubt his hard work also got Ellen Sauerbrey elected Governor until the 24 hour delayed Baltimore City returns managed to undo that.
          He was a blessing to anyone who knew him.  Sincerest condolences to you on losing your beloved, honorable husband and father.  Eternal rest grant unto him O Lord. 
   

My deepest sympathies and prayers to Marie and the family. Monti was a mango loved his family and loved his ministry. I will remember his infectious personality and that huge smile. May he Rest In Peace. 

We just loved his preaching at Holy Family.  We called him Saint Paul for his great deliverance.  We just loved him.  May our Lord and Lady watch over him and may he rest in peace. Prayers for his wonderful Family.

We were so sorry to hear about Monti ‘s passing. He was a lovely human being. The world will miss him. God bless him and his dear family.

May the Peace of The Holy Spirit that passes all understanding be with the family of dearly beloved Deacon "Monti".  How we love you dear brother in Christ, Pro Life hero/advocate, American Patriot, generous, kind, thoughtful friend, Holy Man of God, Faithful Roman Catholic, model for all to imitate - and more.  We will remember you always and your beautiful service to God's children here on earth your tireless prayer and action-oriented Pro Life warrior efforts in behalf of all human life, from conception to natural death. Monti was assigned as deacon at Holy Family when I was a teenager in the youth group.  Just around the time i was getting to the age where I should be earning my own money, he called me out of the blue and offered me a job at his insurance brokerage.  He was my first and best boss, teaching me about professionalism by his at-ease and confident example, overlooking my mistakes with his kindness (and letting Ruth fill me in on the rest!)  He generously treated me to lunch on many occasions and never forgot a Christmas bonus.  As a teenager, he was among the first non-familial contacts I had that weren't peers, and he showed me how faith is lived in the world.  I saw how his joviality attracted frequent good company - a man loved by all.  I will miss you, Monti!  Enjoy the bliss of heaven you so often shared on earth!  

What a nice guy!  Monti always had a smile from the first day I met him as a classmate in 1951.
He would quickly see through tough issues with a rationale statement and a smile, then the issues didn’t seem that tough.

I was a high school classmate and Little League baseball opponent of Deacon Monti’s in Connecticut back in the 1950’s.  He was a great guy who lived a very productive life in the service of others!  My thoughts and prayers are with him and his family at this time. He will be missed!  RIP Monti! — Jack Dolan

Deacon Monti was such a wonderful person!! Terrific, down to earth, evangelizer!! My deepest sympathy to Marie and the family!! He will be greatly missed.

Monti led and mentored the staff on the Murphy for Maryland campaign in 2010.  He was brilliant while at the same time totally approachable and down to Earth.  He was kind, a great patriot and a true believer in America and his faith.  I hadn't spoken with him in years but think of him often and the things he taught me.  I admired him and respected him greatly and will miss him.  He was a great American and great man.

Monti was such a warrior for the unborn.  His compassion and love for the innocent in the womb goes without saying.  I got to know Monti through the Greater Baltimore Center for Pregnancy Concerns.  He was one of the strongest Christians I have ever meant.  His love for God, family, friends, and the unborn was and will continue to be a strong memory for all who knew and loved him.  We lost a blessed Saint when Monti left this world but God gained a great worker for His kingdom.  We shall miss you terribly, dear Monti.  May God bring comfort and strength to Marie and your family in the coming weeks and months.  I know without a doubt, God greeted you by saying, "Well done thou good and faithful servant!  You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things.  Come and share your master's happiness."  Rest in Peace, dear, Monti. 

Deacon Monti was a second father to my husband.  Thank you Monti for loving Wayne for all these years.  Wayne will miss spending time with you on Fridays; times he will always cherish.  Wayne and I have been blessed to have Monti, Marie and their entire family in our lives.  My first great memory of Monti is how welcoming he was to us when we became parishioners at Holy Family.  I remember how hard he worked organizing the festival at Holy Family.  Monti was passionate about his faith and everything he became involved with.  With Monti, you always received more than 100 percent, nothing less.  He loved to share his stories with us and I loved to listen to them.  My heart goes out to Marie and the girls.  They have lost a great husband and father.  The community has lost a great man.  Wayne has lost a father-figure and mentor and I have lost a friend. I will always remember the man who brought faith and sunshine to all the lives he touched.  

When Monti was a deacon at our church, Holy Family, years ago and our daughter, Katie, was young, Monti said he wanted to marry her - meaning he wanted to be the one to do the ceremony.  Katie misunderstood that and said to him "I don't want to marry you, you're too old!" 
Monti was a great deacon and an even better boss, as I worked for him at his insurance agency.  He never became friends with the printer/scanner but always let us know when it was lunchtime!  He loved it when he could talk us into going to Nino Tacos!  
Love you Monti!  We know you are with Him now and happy to be there!
