So many memories of Aunt Alma. Her with my mother Wanda. She was always doing something silly. She was always funny. The life of the family reunions! I was recently looking for a recipe for my daughter and ran across The Kansas City Star where she did a interview and was cooking in the kitchen. She was a good cook! The high heels, Could never figure out how she could wear them LOL so many memories. She was loved ❤️ Butchie, Susie, & Sissy. Thoughts & Prayers are with you

Though it has been many years since I’ve seen Great Aunt Alma, I can hear her voice in my head. Her enthusiasm for life, and the love she shared with all she knew, were infectious. Like her sister-in-law, my Grandma Del, Aunt Alma’s diminutive stature held an indomitable spirit. I will miss her. To all her children, my sincere condolences.

So many memories with Gma....I'll always remember the fun summers spent at her home in Puerto Rico with all the cousins while I was growing up, and later, the fun times spent at her Florida home. She was under 5 feet tall, but with the personality of a giant. :) I'll never forget her ear-piercing whistle, used to wrangle in all us kids. She was a wild driver and always got us where we needed to go....fast. ;-) She filled a room with her voice and her presence, and she loved to sing, make music, and was a fabulous artist. She was also always the host for huge Thanksgiving and New Years Eve parties for many years (and she could make some mean pasteles!) Keep laughing, whistling, and dancing Gma - we will miss you. Lots of love.
