

Barbara Lee Grady, nee Godman, age 79, has gone home to be with her parents, Warren Lee and Anna Ruth, succumbing to her illness at Atlantic General Hospital on May 21, 2025, passing peacefully with her sister by her side. She is survived by her two sons Richard Trostle, Jr., and Steven Trostle, their wives Sheridan and Kimberly Trostle, and 4 grandchildren – Jordan and her husband Jeff, Reid and his fiancé Erica, Jonathan and Megan. She is also survived by her sister Patricia Veitenthal, her nephew Christopher, his wife Amber, and Chris’ three children, Emma, Audrey, and Tucker.
Barbara was born and raised in the Baltimore area. Most of her 79 years were spent in Towson and later Reisterstown where she and her ex-husband and dear friend Richard, Sr. raised their two boys. She worked most of her professional years at Baltimore County General / Northwest Hospital. She continued to work as a nurse until she was 77 years old.
As a career nurse, Barbara was beloved by her co-workers and patients alike. A storyteller at heart, she was positive, caring, upbeat, and friendly to all. She had love, kindness and empathy in seemingly endless supply. She cared for and loved her family and friends unconditionally.
A family-only viewing will be held at Lemmon Funeral Home of Dulaney Valley, Inc., 10 W. Padonia Road (at York Road) Timonium, MD 21093 from 10-11 a.m. on Friday, May 30th, to be followed by a viewing for all friends from 11 a.m. to 12 noon. A brief service will be held at noon before interment at Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens, where she will be laid to rest next to her mother at 1:00 p.m.
