Betsy L. Powers

Betsy L. Powers (née Rosier) passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on January 26, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. She was the devoted wife of the late Richard P. Powers and a beloved mother to her three sons: Richard P. Powers, Jr. and his wife Carolyn, James P. Powers and his wife Robin, and Robert M. Powers and his wife Shellie.

Betsy was a proud grandmother to Christopher M. Powers, Tiffaney V. Hicks, Joshua J. Powers, Lauren N. Walters, Casandra A. Powers, Cameron M. Powers, Carissa E. Powers, Carsen P. Powers, and Jacob P. Powers. Her joy extended to her great-grandchildren Cade, Cole, Chloe, Liam, Axel, Ford, Jemma, Jaxon, Blaze, Quidley, Sammy, and two more soon to join the family.

She was predeceased by her siblings Nancy Dial, Joanne Bradley, Rose Marie Bryan, Robert Rosier, and James Rosier but remained deeply connected to her extended family throughout her life. Betsy was also loved by many nieces and nephews who will fondly remember her warmth and kindness.

Betsy’s life was defined by her unwavering dedication to her family and the love she shared with all who knew her. May her memory bring comfort to those she leaves behind as they celebrate the remarkable life she lived.

The family will receive friends in the Lemmon Funeral Home of Dulaney Valley Inc. 10 W. Padonia Road Timonium, Maryland 21093 on Sunday February 2, 2025 from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm. A funeral Service will be held in the funeral home on February 3rd, 2025 at 9:00 am.

Interment Poplar Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery.
