Dearest Mr.Cooke,Jim,Tracy,Kate,Suzanne,Patrick,Katie & children, I am writing with a heavy heart having recently heard the sad and shocking news about Chris. I was made aware of your loss the evening of my beloved uncle's wake. Am still in the "processing mode." Was able to glance through words of kindness from friends,neighbors and co-workers on the guest book site. There is so much to say about Christopher. How he had his priorities in check. His family came first. Whatever, whenever he was needed he was there. And oh how he adored the children. Mr. Cooke,Sr. showed me some photos,old and recent. The ones taken at the beach were just beautiful. Some so poignant.Chris looked wonderful. Happy. His smile was beautiful. It came from within. There is no doubt he would have been an outstanding father. A true natural. I could go on but will stop now. All I can do is pray for all of you and those whose lives he touched. My name is Judith Daniel, and Upper Falls Dance Academy was most likely the last place he was able to share his electrical talents with. I knew that he was in pain, but he brushed it off as a bad back, and continued to work through it even though I mentioned I was in no hurry for the job to be completed and I could wait. During the brief time that I knew him, it was obvious that he was a caring, kind and gentle soul with a remarkable aim to please.  I am so very sorry such a good person has been lost to us all.  I wish I had time to know him better. I was truly shocked at the news.  I plan to place some small rememberence of his last working efforts somewhere in the studio in honor of his memory,

Dear Cooke Family

I am deeply sorry for your loss.  I first met at work when I was 15 and continued to work with him until I was 21.  Chris was a person that would do anything for you.  He was a very dedicated worker who always showed integrity at work even when other didn't.  He had a strong sense of right and wrong that peer pressure could not change.  He was an excellent electrician and mentor to young men like myself.  I will always think fondly of him as the great teacher and caring person he was.  I can not think of a better person a young man could have in his life to help show them how to act with integrity throughout life.

My wife and I have only known Chris for the past few years, but you could not ask for a better neighbor or friend. We were devistated when we heard about his condition. WHEN MY LATE FATHER NEEDED A SPECIAL PLUG AND BREAKER AND ELECTRICAL BOX FOR HIS OXYGEN MACHINE AND PORTABLE OUTSIDE GENERATER, HE PUT IT IN FOR ME AND REFUSED TO TAKE ONE CENT. WE WOULD TALK TWO OR THREE TIMES A WEEK, HE WOULD CALL ME UP AND SAY THAT HE HEARD ME ON RADIO ON THE SPORTSTALK SHOW, HE WOULD SAY THATS IT TOM TELL THEM LIKE IT IS. I WILL MISS HIM DEARLY AND KEEP HIM IN MY THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS ALWAYS NEVER TO FORGET! I knew Chris as a young apprentice; he worked for my father’s company, and was a good friend and roommate of my brothers.  A wonderfully kind and bright young man with a contagious smile.  I hope that the memories you share as a family and God’s loving care hold each of you safely and support you in this time of tremendous loss.
