Crosby, 

5 years goes by fast.  Lots of memories of you, your mom, sister, the cats and Biscuit of course.  Seeing you guys laugh and smile and just go about your day, watching you guys grow up next door. Doing homework and navigating school, it's hard.

Not a day goes by without your mom thinking of you.  She misses you more than you can imagine.  

Just letting you know, you are missed.

Crosby was one of the first people I met in college and I instantly fell in love with him. On our first day Sallie said, “You have got to meet my homie from Baltimore. He’s coming over now.” Next thing you know I’m sharing a joint with one of the strangest and most honest people I’d ever met. From that moment on we were basically inseparable. From stacking our plates as high as we could on taco night, to music festivals, to chillin at the gorges - I cherish every second I had with him. Not just parties and late nights though, I’ll always remember the quiet moments - sharing the last beer in the fridge and talking about life, music, or our many, many girl problems. 

After college we both moved to LA and though neither of us stayed for too long, I can honestly say that I wouldn’t have lasted half as long without him. He really made living far from home so much easier. I think that’s because by that point Crosby had become my family. Neither of us could afford to go home that often so we even celebrated our holidays together. We got chinese food and a movie on Christmas and made turkey on Thanksgiving. So despite the fact that I was 3000 miles away from my parents, I knew I had a brother right around the corner. 

I keep thinking back to the last meal we had in LA. The day before he left the two of us went to a small taco joint across the street from the Chateau Marmont. We talked about life, our future and of course girls. At one point Crosby looked up at one of the the most expensive hotels in the country and said the next time he came to LA we’d be renting a suite there. By then CKR will have blown up and we’d live like kings. Crosby dreamed big, and he never gave up on those dreams. But I truly believe that one day we’d have gotten to that suite... And shortly after been kicked out and banned for life. 

I really wish we could have made it to the chateau... But right now I‘d give anything just to share one more beer with my friend.

In my eyes when you showed me the video of the event you had as a DJ with 300 people in the crowd . YOU MADE IT . I remember every time you preformed ,you always shared that with me. The funniest is your Las Vegas performance where you and your team lost a good bit of equipment and phones. hahaha . I have seen many DJ's and promoters in my life traveling the world , Crosby you excelled in the music Industry and I never had a chance to see you perform and wish that I did ,I am grateful for every video you showed me of your events,  Every time I watch a music video and listen to my playlist that gets me through my day and my life. I know you will be with me ,side by side ,every step I take .

 I will remember all the good times at Grandma's , The Go-Kart rides we shared ,Fireworks we set off, The pizza we ate ,And all the video games we played together.  You gave me so much happiness and laughter. The memories of Regal Cinemas watching movies and grabbing as many snacks as you could carry with the double mountain Dew are the most special memories I will cherish in life. We had many a sundae eating contests with our hands behind our back  at friendly's Ice Crème restaurant in Timonium Maryland which was a fun time and the indoor arcade which brought us so many laughs. 
 I was blessed enough to bring you to my apartment in NYC for a few days ,after speaking with your Mom for a very long time. You and Nicholas had the best time going to the Arcade "Time Out" on 42nd Street and Times Square .  You made the big screen TV with the star wars video game and won the prize. I will never forget that . It was the best 2am video game challenge I have ever been part of ,Seeing you on that big screen was awesome .  Your mom wasn't real happy about me taking you out that late ,But I loved that moment in time with you.  The rides into Manhattan with you and Nick in the PT Cruiser blasting Howard Stern ,eating sour patch kids and laughing all the way are the things I lived for, as a fun Uncle in your life. Sour patch kids are the best. 
The time we tricked your mom and Dalia into seeing the movie Kung Pow ,When she thought it was snow dogs, I paid extra for snow dogs tickets and had the video screen changed outside the theater to show the snow dog title ,All you kids orchestrated that moment which was another great moment . We laughed hard as mom left the theater not so happy before the movie started. Nick ,Tyler,Kyle ,Hunter and Dalia still talk about that today. You brought so much laughter that day to all of us.  Nick and I will always have an extra seat at our table ,knowing you will be there. I love you ...... Uncle Greg 

Crosby and I had the same life plan. We started at Ithaca College together as Television-Radio majors concentrating in Audio Production. This meant we had the same teachers, classes, and homework. We shared almost everything academically, but mostly we shared the formative part of our young lives. 

I met Crosby the summer before college at the Charm City Art Space in our home town, Baltimore MD. It didn’t take long for our crews to collide in the noise rock scene; the highlight being watching him play drums for his band Gunwales. We finally exchanged #s when we found out we were both bound for IC. Day 1 at college, I get a “Yo, what’s up”, and the rest is history. 

We were inseparable. From bowl packs to vid chats, we kept a consistent rate of chilling. Having the same home town, we had the same weekend rave plans: Starscape, Fall Massacre, Psychedelic Circus. Home for the weekend, back on Sunday to finish the audio project, barely make our VIC Radio DJ sets, or catch our Pita Pit shifts. 

Senior Year. 30 of our classmates had carefully planned our college career to end with our final semester studying in the Los Angeles internship program. Ral, CLAW, Boone, Spence, KAPP, Wiley, Dion and many other Park Students set sail for LA. We were all housed in the Oakwoods: a magical long term rental residence where double hot tubs, BBQ grill & chills were the reality. 

Post graduation, when he decided to leave LA and return to the mothership of Bodymore, I knew our friendship would change. We would no longer be up a stair case, down the hall, or one text away.  We knew that the immediacy and tactile part of our BFF experience was over, but we still had the music, CKR. 

From youth to young adults, we grew and changed together. When he left this earth, a part of me left too. That space will always remain empty, but I know I have a promise to keep to him. To keep creating & to keep his honest, loving, booming spirit alive. I’ll miss him every day. My most honorable dude.

I was lucky enough to live next to Crosby, Marce and Dalia for a number of years.  I watched him grow up over the years and grow into the young man he became.  My favorite thought of Crosby as some of you have heard was attending a U2 concert in Philly on a school night. We were in the front row for the show and Dalia even got the set list from the show.  It took a while to get out of the show and parking lot.  It was getting late and we were hot and tired.. We decided to stop at a McDonald's for a quick bit to eat and drink after standing up for hours.  Crosby threw a 2 year old type temper tantrum because he wanted to get home and go to bed, after all it was a school night.  Nothing could be done to change his mind on the subject, but he ate his food anyway.  I am glad to see he enjoyed his time after school with good friends and people we who shared his love of music.  Rip my friend.

Hey Crosb,
I butchered that speech:( There was a lot of people in there and I'm glad I forgot about the streaming or it would have been worse. I fell in love with you at the wedding of your Dad and Ilene. You were very upset and I just wanted to steal you away and take care of you forever, that's what I meant as a sad memory. I'm just a big kid and I felt for you. I'm soo proud of you and was always rooting for you. I was kinda a dummy about your business, but I so wanted you to succeed and be happy. I was amazed at your trip to Cali, you are so cool and brave. That was huge. I tried to get someone from grade school to hire you out there. He didn't that brat.  I am thankful you came back though, more time with you :) I loved hanging with you when we did, which wasn't nearly enough. I loved hearing all your stories. I'm sorry I didn't check on you more. I'll try and do better with your Mom, Dad and Dal :( You made me feel special and loved, I needed that. I see you you do that for sooo many people :)
I saw a clip of you deejaying. You are soo cute. Your music is cool, I'm a little wimpy with the cursing. 
I love you little Puppy and miss you soo much. I'm sending you a big squish. You can send one back if you want. They are more like big bear hugs :)

Words can not express how heartbroken and sad I am about the loss off my dear nephew , Crosby. He was truly a talented and smart individual with a genuine soul.
I will miss him coming through the door at Christmas and giving me a big hug and saying Hi Aunt Holly with an enormous smile and magnetic energy that filled the room with happiness and love.
The world has lost a magnificent soul and Crosby will be missed beyond words.

Our wonderful nephew, Crosby, the sweetest of boys, funny, kind, loving, and giver of some serious hugs, taken from of lives too soon.  We will forever cherish the time we had together, but mourn what could have been. 
     My boy, you were my oldest nephew, the one that Uncle Marc really wanted me to meet. You took my hand and , at 3 years old, took me to play LEGOS. We sat on your bedroom floor and played and chatted. I adored you from that day on. I looked forward to seeing you at family gatherings, always smiling and telling good stories.  Spending quality time with you in the Bahamas and watching as you led the pack of Lawrence kids everywhere. Them, like the rest of us, just wanting to be in your company.  
     I loved watching you grow into the wonderful man that you became. I will grieve for what might have been, for your beautiful smile, your kind heart. 
     I never took the opportunity to tell you what you meant to me, how you were appreciated. To honor your memory I will tell people straight up how much I love them and be present in the moment in hopes that I won’t have to think “ I should have...”.  You will be missed, babe. I love you. 

So sad to see my nephew gone from this world.  I can't even believe I'm saying that.  So many years too early; so much more music to play; so many memories left to make.  Crosby - you are loved by many; not just by family, but by all the friends that I have seen posting sincerely how special of a person you were from the bottom of their hearts.  While your friends and family won't be able to see you in person, you'll be in everybody's heart forever.   With all of our love - Uncle David, Aunt Eileen, and cousins Nick, Ryan, Jake, Emily, Katie Frances, and Ben.

my dude is gone way too soon. slipped through this plane & drifted into the filth bass drenched heaven of his dreams. 
Crosby was my brother, hype man, buddy, & late night lifeline. 
he was scheduled to dj my wedding. Crosby was the one to encourage everyone to lighten up, have all the laughs & enjoy the moment.  famous for his incredible talent for keeping the ‘chillest’ of vibes. the man who lived super wild & free - always true to himself. living in a perpetual state of the good times - i always admired his dedication to doing what he wanted to do. truly, how can one not?
my relationship with Crosby was remarkably tender. most of my cherished memories are of him cuddled up with my stuffies or Esper Gucci Swag, our house cat, having big conversations about love, hardships, & our dreams. providing each other with honest companionship & solidarity during the weird time of learning to be a functioning human while in college & the years that followed. or Esper curling up on his speakers while he made music & played the same foundation rattling bass loop over & over to get it just right. always coaxing laughter from everyone. he was such a gentle creature underneath all the noise. (though we adored all his noise)
such a feeler, a lover... someone who felt the spectrum of emotion deeply. he had BIG love inside him - i have witnessed him shake uncontrollably in the depths of his own power to love. 
a kind human with a lot to offer this world. 
i will miss the sound of him, his hyphy catch phrases, the random late night check ins with him or him making fun of me for dating DJs & liking the Grateful Dead. i have genuinely missed cleaning up his yung messes since we lived together (don’t ever tell him!)...now i will miss working through our adult ones together. i trusted him because he always made me feel included, loved, supported, heard,  & admired. what more could you ever ask for in an angel of a friend? what i would do for more moments with you..infinite love.

Crosby was always like another cousin to me. One of my favorite memories of Crosby was from about 14 years ago when me, him, and four of his cousins all had a sleep over at Mrs. Tracy's house. We stayed up almost all night singing AD/DC songs which I'm sure kept Mrs. Tracy and Mr. Jason awake all night! Crosby was always the light of the group whenever he was around. He always found ways to make everyone laugh and have a good time. I loved seeing him on the holidays as he always greeted me with a big hug and his classic " What's up J!". He was also incredibly talented with music. During the holiday's he would always show me videos of shows he performed in and it was amazing to see the talented musician he became! Crosby, you were a blessing to many.

Crosby- as I reflect, I have so many memories of your beautiful curly hair, smiling face, distinctive laugh, and the way you loved the holiday dinners at Grandpa's and Grandma's (especially, Grandma's homemade rolls). Watching you grow from a baby to a man, you never ceased to amaze me with your talents and intelligence. I am flooded with  childhood memories of you and your cousins playing hours of air-soft, Mario Cart, and camping in the basement, and of course how you loved for Uncle Jason and I to take you to Bomboys Candy Shop for our "special treats" when you would stay with us. Our hearts will never be quite as whole without you here, but I promise your memories and the mark you made in all of our hearts will last forever. We promise to always care for your sweet momma and sister. Till I see you again, my sweet nephew, rest in the peace. I love you "C".

To Crosby's friends and family - I am so very sorry for your loss. I ran cross country with Crosby at Hereford and I can honestly say he was the funniest person on the team. His attitude and his way with words made him unforgettable. He was truly, absolutely, one of a kind. Sincerely - Drew Gordon
