On October 10, 2026, Dale Jerome Bayne, Sr. passed away peacefully in the hospital surrounded by his loved ones. He is the devoted husband of Lois W. Bayne; dear father of Dale Bayne, Jr., his late wife Deborah Bayne and his partner Rebecca, Gerald Bayne and his wife Helen, Donald Bayne and his wife Peggy, Rodger Bayne and his wife Dawn; cherished grandfather of Rachael & Mark, Sheila & Andrew, Alexa, Eric & Linda, Alexandra & Jake, Margery, Mark & Jacq, Katelyn & Mike, Dayle & Dennis, Elisabeth & David; great-grandfather of Debbie and Ellie, Derrick, Alana, Bruce, Clara, Arwen, Caroline, Eliza, Miles, Theresa, Rosemma, Ethan, Joshua, Olivia, Freya, and Rhett; a beloved uncle, cousin and friend to many.
At 93, and with the all too recent passing of his dear sister Janet, Dale was the last survivor of his generation. His other siblings Walter, Samuel, Theresa, Ella, Alfred, & Joseph are now happy to greet him again.
The family will receive friends at the Lemmon Funeral Home of Dulaney Valley, Inc., 10 W. Padonia Road (at York Road), Timonium, MD 21093 on Friday, October 23, 2026 from 2:00-4:00 pm and 6:00-8:00 pm, where Catholic Prayer will be held on Saturday, October 24, 2026 at 10:00 am.
Interment Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens.
