I just found this . Sorry to hear of Dans passing. He was a good friend and mentor. I knew him from my days at Irvington Federal up to my days a Bradford Bank. I could always count on him, because that who dan was a friend.

We called Dan "Deputy Dan" because he was the security expert in Towson Branch on Washington Avenue. He always had a good story to share about some robbery or security breech. He was a good guy may God bless him and his family. Amen. Harry Lloyd (still in towson).

So sorry to hear of Dan's passing. Dan was always a pleasure to work with when he was at M&T Towson. Always a gentleman who had a wealth of knowledge to share. Most of our conversations would be about his job, fire arms or shooting in general. Even after Dan left M&T, I would always hear from Dan just before  holidays. I was surprised this year when Christmas came and went and didn't receive that familiar call I grew to expect from him. It wasn't until this week that I learned of Dan's passing. I wish to express my sincere condolences to you and let you know that Dan will be dearly missed by myself and the many employees at M&T that had the pleasure to work with him.

Deb, I am so glad I had the opportunity to talk with Dan before any of this happened.  He always talked about you in ways that made me smile as he thought so much of you.  Dan was a close friend who always made time with Robert Hyde to have dinner with me anytime I was in the area.  It was a pleasure to have Dan as a friend he will be missed by myself every time I visit a civil war battlefield.

I have known Dan for many years working in the banking industry.  He was always willing to assist in a case and possessed a wealth of knowledge in the field.  Dan will be truly missed by his friends and colleagues!

Dan was the first industry contact I made in 2007 when I worked for Chevy Chase Bank. Ever since then I was honored to call him a friend and looked to him as a mentor. If you met Dan once it was your honor, the second time was like seeing an old friend, he just had that type of an effect on people. Men of Dan's stature are rare and  I count myself lucky to have gained knowledge from knowing him and will recall fondly everything I learned. God Bless and may the Lord welcome him into Heaven ..

I only met Dan a few times but I knew his great reputation well before meeting him in person.   He was funny and clever and found humor even in the grimness of our line of work.  He was an asset to our profession.  My deepest condolences to his family.

I knew Dan for 30 years and eventhough we only associated during working hours, Dan still confided in me about many aspects of his life issues - family, health and hobbies.
