Dan was born in Cheyenne, WY on October 5, 1968 to Harry and Marcia Williams. He graduated from high school in Wheatland, Wyoming. He then attended the Denver Academy of Court reporting in Denver, Colorado. He spent most of his adult life in Idaho, and his last job there was as a court reporter for Distract Court Judge Simpson in Bingham County. In 2018 he ventured to Baltimore, Maryland where he worked for Al Betz Court Reporting Firm, Prince George County Courthouse, and Evans Court Reporting. Dan absolutely loved his job as a court reporter so much that he was a lifetime member of the NCRA (National Court Reporters Association).
His love for his family and friends was unconditional. He loved to make people laugh, and always had a smile on his face. He was friends with everyone he met. People who knew him loved him. He was known as the guy with a heart of gold.
His surviving family includes his father Harry Williams (Judy), his sisters Cathy Ernste, Julie Warwick (Dean) and Terry Heessel (Rich), his brother Michael Williams (Donnita), nieces Danielle and Alyssa Ernste, Crystal Sauer (Austin), April Williams, Bobbi Fletcher (Terry), and nephew Steven Arnold (Chad), his lifelong friend Rob Fahey, and numerous great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother Marcia Williams in 1986 and all of his grandparents.
