On December 26, 2025, Deanna A. Kotzias was suddenly taken from us. Born in 1938 on the island of Rhodes in Greece, she was the beloved daughter of the late Antonios and Stella Kotzias; devoted sister of Irene Worcester and her late husband Rocky, Dr. Chris A. Kotzias and his wife Chrisoula, the late George Kotzias her twin brother, the late Paul Kotzias and his late wife Geraldine; loving aunt of Key Worcester, Stasia Owens and her husband John, Gordy Worcester and his wife Raven, and Dimitri Kotzias and his wife Farrah. Deanna took joy in spending time with her great nieces and nephews: Jake, Cecily, and Nick Owens, Colt and Oliver Worcester, Ivy Covington, and Armin and Reza Kotzias. Deanna was selfless, with a gift for taking care of everyone she loved from her beloved mother to her brother George, and most recently her brother-in-law Rocky. She was happiest spending time with those she cherished most and was loved by all who had the privilege to know her. Deanna had a special gift with animals of all kinds and a unique connection to all creatures great and small.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, January 8, 2026, at St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church from 10:30 AM until 11:00 AM at which time a funeral service will begin. Interment will follow at Oak Lawn Cemetery.
