A dedicated teacher for many years, she touched countless lives in grade schools throughout her career. She had a special gift for inspiring young minds and fostering a love of reading and learning. Her passion for education was matched by her commitment to her faith, having spent twelve and a half years with the Order of the Sisters of Mercy, where she devoted herself to serving others with compassion and grace.
She embraced life with energy and enthusiasm. An avid runner and fitness enthusiast, she participated in numerous 5K races and believed in staying active and healthy. She found joy in tending to her beautiful flower gardens, where she nurtured each bloom with the same care and attention she gave to the people she loved.
She was happiest on a dance floor. A lover of disco music, she could often be found dancing with a smile on her face, sharing her joy with everyone around her. Her love of dancing was infectious and remained one of the many ways she connected with family and friends throughout her life.
Above all else, she cherished her family. Her greatest joy was spending time with her beloved grandson, Colin. She was his biggest supporter and rarely missed an opportunity to attend his flag football games, proudly cheering him on from the sidelines. The bond they shared was one of the greatest treasures of her life.
She will be remembered as a selfless, kind, and caring woman who always put the needs of others before her own. Her generosity, warmth, and unwavering love touched all who knew her. Though she will be deeply missed, her legacy lives on in the countless lives she influenced, the family she adored, and the memories that will forever be cherished.
She is survived by her beloved husband Robert Andrews, loving mother of Brian Andrews and his husband Jim Javorsky ; cherished grandma of Colin Andrews; dear sister of Stephen Deloach and Johnny Deloach. Diane is also survived by loving family and friends.
