

On April 22, 2026 Dorothy Linthicum passed away, peacefully in her sleep, at Mercy Ridge in Timonium, MD; Born in Portsmouth, England and came to the U.S. in 1976; beloved wife of George E. Linthicum, III; devoted mother of Sarah Jane Montgomery and her fiancé William Matthews and the late Jeremy Robert Howard Tolson; cherished step-mother of Georgeanna Linthicum and her husband Ki Han, George E. Linthicum, IV. and his wife Sparky, and Whit Linthicum; loving grandmother of Hannah Jane Montgomery, Rachel Grace Montgomery, step-grandmother of Ana Bishop McConnell and her husband Cian, George M.L. Bishop, Martin and David Linthicum; dear sister of Howard Wilkinson and his wife Jan and Alan Wilkinson and his wife Dee. Also survived by nieces, nephews and other loving family and friends.
She leaves behind a legacy defined by kindness, grace, and an unwavering devotion to family, friends, and the many lives she touched throughout her years. Dorothy was a dedicated dental assistant who took great pride in her work. She cared deeply for her patients, always treating each person with compassion, gentleness, and genuine concern. Her warm smile and reassuring presence made even the most anxious patients feel at ease, and many came to think of her not just as a caregiver, but as a trusted friend.
Beyond her profession, Dorothy was known for her elegance and poise. A truly classy lady, she carried herself with quiet confidence and a generous spirit that drew people to her. She valued meaningful connections and cherished time spent with loved ones, creating memories that will be treasured forever.
Dorothy’s love for her family and friends was the center of her life. She gave freely of her time, her heart, and her wisdom, always putting others before herself. Her presence brought comfort, laughter, and a sense of belonging to all who knew her. She will be deeply missed, but her legacy of love, care, and grace will continue to live on in the hearts of those she leaves behind.
The family will receive guests on Tuesday, April 28, 2026, from 1:30 to 2:00 pm in Our Lady of Grace Church, 18310 Middletown Road, Parkton, MD 21120 with a Memorial Service beginning at 2:00 pm.
