Elmer LeRoy Masimore

On February 13, 2013 Elmer LeRoy (Roy) Masimore , 90, of Pompano Beach, FL formerly of Timonium, MD died at his home in Florida. Born November 10, 1922 in Parkton, MD, he was the oldest son of Harvey E. and Rosa Gladys Masimore. Roy was a veteran of WWII and served in the Central European Theater in 1945. He was enlisted into the Army in 1944 and was discharged as a Sergeant in 1946. Elmer retired after more than 25 years of dedicated service with the Sun Oil Company in Baltimore, MD and was a long time member of Loch Raven Baptist Church in Towson, MD. He will be missed by family and friends. Roy was the loving father of Sally Seidlich of Westminster, MD, Debbie LeBon of Pasadena, MD, and Charles Masimore of Ft. Lauderdale, FL and the late Virginia Gladys Masimore; dear brother of Clarence Masimore of Stewartstown, PA, Gladys Rau of Woodlawn, MD and the late Harvey E. (Eddie) Masimore of Woodlawn, MD. Cherished grandfather of 11 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren. Friend to all.

The family will receive friends in the Lemmon Funeral Home of Dulaney Valley, Inc., 10 W. Padonia Road (at York Road) Timonium, MD 21093 on Sunday from 2 to 4 PM and 7 to 9 PM.
