Emily Hairston Pittman

Emily “Marguerite” Hairston Pittman transitioned on December 7, 2016 at her home. Her husband was by her side when she drifted off to be with her Heavenly Father. She was born to the late Jesse Hairston and June Meyers on June 15, 1946.

Marguerite leaves to mourn her husband Bobby Pittman Sr.; three sons, Dwayne and Phillip Hairston and John Jones, Jr.; one daughter, Melissa Jones; four stepchildren, Bobby, Jr., Tierra, Isaiah, and Jasmine Pittman; four sisters, Judith Taybron, June Guy, Blanche Smith and Marlene Cardwell; one brother, Dennis Hairston; one deceased brother, Jesse Hairston; two deceased sisters, Darlene Pringle and Christine Smith; a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren; two dearest friends, Margie and Sylvia; nephews; cousins and extended family and friends.

The family will receive friends in the LEMMON FUNERAL HOME OF DULANEY VALLEY INC., 10 W. Padonia Road (at York Road) Timonium, Maryland 21093 on Friday, December 16, 2016 from 4-9pm.

A Celebration of Emily's life will be held in the Funeral Home on Saturday, December 17, 2016 at 11am with the Wake beginning at 10am.

Interment Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens.
