Doris --I was sorry to read about George's passing and that we were unable to attend the viewing. I hope you remember us -- Pat (Reinhardt) Blackwell and daughter Sherri Blackwell from Marlora Road. Be assured that you are in our thoughts and prayers.

Doris, Michael, Donna:

I find solace in the following: 'Life Is Eternal'.

As I stand upon the seashore, a ship spreads her white sails to the morning breeze and moves toward the blue ocean. She is an object of beauty and strength, and I stand and watch her move farther away until she is merely a speck of white cloud just where the sea and sky come together. Then, someone beside me says, "There! She is gone."

Gone where? Gone from my sight - that is all. She is just as large in mast, sail, hull and spar as she was when she was near me at the shore. Her diminished size is in me, not in her.

So that, just at the moment when someone at my side said, "There! She is gone," there are other eyes watching her coming and other voices gladly shouting: "Here she comes!"

We will think of and pray for George and you everyday.
