He was a hardworking, talented man who could fix just about anything. A true handyman, he enjoyed working with his hands and took great pride in his woodworking and craftsmanship. He especially loved carving ducks, creating pieces that reflected his patience, creativity, and attention to detail.
He was also known for his good, dry sense of humor. He had a quiet way of making people laugh, often with a perfectly timed comment or a subtle joke.
He will be remembered for his kindness, his talent, his sense of humor, and the many things he created with his own two hands. He will be deeply missed by his family and all who knew and loved him.
He is the beloved husband of the late Miriam Stewart Glinsmann, devoted father of Susan Wolfe and her husband Eddie, Lesley Rhoads and her fiancé John Hayes, and Laura Brockmeyer and her husband Rob; cherished grandpa of Sam, Jack and Anna; dear brother of the late Carol Giarlo.
