On Monday, October 13, 2025, Jean Frances Logue (nee Rush) passed away. She was the beloved wife of the late Edward Sappington, Jr.; loving mother of Joseph Francis Sappington (Sandy Murrey) and Susan Elizabeth Sappington (Scott Uram); dear Nana of Amanda Helen Drogemuller and Samantha Elizabeth Hayes (Clay Hayes); treasured daughter of the late Clarence and Helen Rush; sister of Theresa Louise Scharper (Richard Scharper), the late Nancy Catherine Macek and the late Diane Pargament; aunt of Kathleen MacDonald, David Macek, Nancy Scheitlin, Carol Hagenbach, Paul Macek, Katherine Nicholson, the late Scott Scharper and the late Michael Macek.
Jean loved working with people throughout her career as a Nurse’s Assistant and moving on to work in Patient Services. Her passion was helping people in life and living her life to the fullest.
The family will receive friends in the Lemmon Funeral Home of Dulaney Valley, Inc. 10 W. Padonia Road (at York Road) Timonium, Maryland 21093 on Saturday, October 18, 2025, from 9 AM until 11AM at which time a Funeral Service will take place.
Interment to follow at Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Maryland SPCA in Jean’s honor.
