

Jennie B. Libertini, 110 years old, of Baltimore, Maryland, passed away peacefully on August 7, 2025. A first-generation American, born to Italian immigrants, the late Josephine and Frank Barbarino, Jennie was a trailblazer who devoted over 30 years to the Social Security Administration. She made significant contributions in paving the way for women in the workforce at the agency, leaving a legacy of dedication and perseverance.
Jennie’s love for life was evident in everything she did. She found joy in cooking and baking, often sharing her culinary creations with friends and family. A lifelong Baltimore Orioles fan, she enjoyed cheering for her team, win or lose. Her faith was an important part of her life, as she was a devout Catholic who found peace and strength in her church community. In her free time, Jennie loved playing bingo, always embracing each moment with a smile and a sense of fun.
Jennie is survived by many close friends. She was preceded in death by her son Michael James Libertini, her brother Benjamin Barbarino and her sister Angela Barbarino. She will be remembered for her warm heart, determination, and unwavering faith. Her memory will continue to inspire all who knew her.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather at Lemmon Funeral Home of Dulaney Valley Inc., 10 W Padonia Road, on Wednesday, August 13th from 10am -11am, where a service will begin at 11am.
Interment to follow at Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens.
