John J. Strauch, Sr. passed on September 25, 2026, at the age of 95, having been born on April 15, 1931, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and residing in Timonium, Maryland; beloved husband of Annette Strauch (nee Defina); devoted father of Debbie Suehle and her husband John, John J. Strauch, Jr. and his wife Paula, Cindi Federline and her husband Michael, Greg Strauch and his wife Toni, Regina Ciattei and her husband Richard, Timothy Strauch and his significant other Liza Ward, and Joel Strauch and his wife Debi; cherished grandfather of 27 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, 2 step-great-grandchildren, and 1 on the way; dear brother of Teresa Angellilo, George Strauch, and Ruth E. Snodgrass. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and other loving family and friends.
John was a cherished member of the Catonsville Community as Pharmacist and owner of Paradise Pharmacy.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather at Lemmon Funeral Home of Dulaney Valley, Inc, 10 West Padonia Road, Timonium, MD 21093, on October 9, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm, and again from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Joseph Parish, 100 Church Ln, Cockeysville, MD 21030, US, on October 10, 2026, at 10 am. Interment to follow at Lakeview Memorial Park, 2724 Liberty Rd, Sykesville, MD 21784.
