

Josephine C. Geppi was a modest woman, quiet and observant in her ways. She was trustworthy and traditional in her approach to her life and in her relationships. She was also a woman who was meticulous, carefully disciplined, and orderly in virtually everything she undertook. Realistic about life, she was always at the ready, prepared to take on responsibility.
She was the daughter of Vincent and Josephine Barranco. Josephine grew up in East Brady, PA.
Josephine was raised with two siblings. She had two sisters Mary Jane Kelly and Jean DiFatta. Josephine was usually involved in all sorts of activities with her siblings. She and her siblings experienced rivalries typical of a growing family, but they shared many life experiences over the years.
Josephine worked hard to be a good mother to her children and she did her best to fulfill their needs. Josephine was blessed with two sons, Charles "Chuck" Geppi, and Vincent Charles Geppi. Another blessing for Josephine was the gift of two grandsons, Andrew Charles Geppi and Brandon Michael Geppi.
Fortunately, Josephine enjoyed what she did for a living. Showing a strong work ethic, Josephine worked diligently and did her best to succeed in her career. Her primary occupation was a waitress. She was employed for many years at Haussners Restaurant. Josephine always sought to be a team player, doing what was necessary in order to get the job done.
Josephine’s faith was important to her. She was a member St. Joseph Church, Fullerton.
Josephine passed away on May 29, 2010 at Manor Care, Towson, MD. She is survived by her son Charles "Chuck" Geppi and his dear friend Patty Rosen; Dear sister of Mary Jane Kelly and Jean DiFatta; Cherished Grandmother of Andrew Charles Geppi and Brandon Michael Geppi. Josphine was preceded in death by her husband Charles Salvatore Geppi and her son Vincent Charles Geppi.
The family will receive friends in the Lemmon Funeral Home of Dulaney Valley, Inc. 10 W. Padonia Road (at York Road) Timonium, MD 21093 on Tuesday from 7 to 9 PM and Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM with a vigil at 3:30 PM.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Joseph Church, 8420 Belair Road Fullerton, MD, on Thursday, June 3 at 11 AM. Josephine will be laid to rest in the adjoining Cemetery.
Simply stated, Josephine was a good and kind person, an individual who will for all time be remembered by her family and friends as being a caring and giving person, someone who was a vital part of their lives. Josephine leaves behind her a legacy of life-long friendships and many cherished memories. Everyone whose life she touched will always remember Josephine C. Geppi.
