I met Joyce in the summer of 1962 in Ocean City md. I was a 21 yr old OCPD patrolman and Joyce was a waitress at a popular diner.
She was a lovely, vivacious and charming girl.

I just now, Sunday Sept 5, 2021,
learned of her death.
I am so sorry that she is gone.

Adrian and Andrea, and Family,  I am totaly devasted at the news I just found on line.  We spoke last about a month ago, when she was starting chemo.  Every day since, I tell myself "I've got to call Joy today!" To my everlasting sorrow, I drug my  feet, because I didn't want bad news.  Well, today, I have it.  our mother and I, truly loved each other for all these years, and planned to marry several times, but I got cold feet, due to the logistics., before she moved to Georgia. At one point a few years ago, she made me promise that the only thing she asked, was to go home to you and see her "Babies"Over the years, I've always thought of you girls as could have been, should have been, Daughters.  Joy will always be in my heart, and the deep regret of a lifetime.
We always made each other HAPPY!, even over hours and hours of phone calls over the years I've thought of you girls many times over the years, and remember the times we had in Seattle.  
I have some pictures and some art work she has sent me over the years, which I will be happy to share with you, if you would like. I am not very computer literate, and this is the first e-mail of any import I've done. You can always reach me @ 206-226-8895, or @11104 25th St.  N.E.

Oh the memories!  Wonderful, beautiful memories of the whole family!  I was the oldest girl of the kids, so sometimes I got to hang with the adults.  Joy and Pat too; we had so much fun!  I will hold those special times spent with the Weaver family in my heart forever.  Beautiful Joy lived life to the fullest!  She will be missed.
