Dear Ralph, I read with sadness of Judy's death.  I just saw it in Tuesday's paper this morning.  I'll always treasure the times we spent as kids in Curtis Bay and of course when we all got together in later years.  She will always be remembered as someone very special and always willing to help. Please know that Ed and I will keep you, Steven, and Theresa in our thoughts and prayers.

Judy was always ready with a smile and a welcoming "hello" whenever I saw her at a golf event. She was always ready for fun and willing to share the joke with whomever was near. To Ralph, Steven, Theresa, Chloe, and all members of Judy's family I give my most heartfelt condolences for your loss and would like you to know, and I have it on good authority, that Judy will be watching over you until it is time to see her again.

There are many times when I wish Mom and Dad didn't move us away from our family in Baltimore.  I love my huge family, but was never as close to you as those that lived nearby.  However, there were some aunts and uncles that I was closer to than others.  Aunt Judy was one of them and she never made me feel like the distant cousin.  She loved me (and disciplined me!) just as much as any other.  You'd think it might not be possible to miss someone you rarely saw, but as I write this I realize it's quite easy.  I'll miss your love and support. I'll even miss the way you mothered me just as much as your own kids.  I'll miss that strong Baltimore accent and your sense of humor.  I'll miss the stories you told about my parents and family.  Mostly, I'll miss you for Steve, Theresa, and Uncle Ralph because I know they'll miss you.  I love you, Aunt Judy.

I am very saddened to hear about your loss. I went through this last week my self. Please know that I love you and appreciate your friendship. When you hug me and give me words of encouragement it is a testament of what your mom would appreciate you do for your fellow brothers. Giving love unconditionally and caring for the underdog is what made your mommy quite special. Your loss is felt in my house and my wife and children just asked God to please watch out over your family-friends and loved ones. Steve, your mom was blessed to have such a beautiful family and now she will be watching out over us all while in Gods Presence. Peace be with you and the Hessler Family in this very trying time in your lives. The Bartels Family are praying for you all.

I was deeply saddened by the news of Judy's passing. My heartfelt condolences go out to all of Judy's family and friends.  She was one of the nicest people I had the pleasure of being friends with in Baltimore and I am so grateful for my memories of her on our golf outings.  We always managed to share a laugh or two...or three or four.  I will always consider her a dear friend.  May memories of her bring peace to you all as I know she'll be watching over her family.
