Kathleen Marie Grady Laudeman, passed away on November 5, 2023; she was 95 and the beloved wife of the late William “Bill” Laudeman for 68 years until his death in 2017; devoted mother of Stacey Roig and her husband Ray, Stephanie Scherpf and her husband Mike, Craig Laudeman and his wife Mary; loving grandmother of Chip Roig (Erica) and Erin Roig Siller (John), Katelyn and Kali Scherpf, Madison, Lucy and Piper Laudeman. Mrs. Laudeman, known to her family and friends as Kathy, married Bill in 1949 and they began a long and happy marriage. They moved to Timonium in 1957, and were long-time residents of Stratford, Roundwood Ridge and BrightView at Mays Chapel Ridge. Kathy was a devoted mother and grandmother and loved dogs. She was an avid bridge player and was a member of several bridge clubs. Kathy loved to cook and entertain friends and family at her home, hosting an annual Preakness Party that rivaled attending the event at Pimlico. Planning a good party was a true pleasure for her and she would begin well in advance so as not to miss a detail.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather at Lemmon Funeral Home of Dulaney Valley Inc. on Monday, November 20, 2023 from 4:00pm to 7:00pm. A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, November 21, 2023 at 10:00am at The Immaculate Conception Church in Towson, Maryland.
Interment to follow at Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens.
